The voice of Berta Cáceres has become the voice of millions.

Berta Cáceres, a fierce advocate for the indigenous Lenca people of Honduras, led a grassroots campaign against the Agua Zarca Dam, a project threatening their land and livelihoods. Despite facing violence and intimidation, she rallied her community and gained international support, ultimately forcing the dam builder to withdraw. Tragically, she was murdered in 2016, but her legacy lives on as her colleagues continue the fight for justice and indigenous rights in Honduras.
